Advanced Product Quality Plan (APQP) Workshop

Aims

• this course provides an overview of the planning process, APQP objectives and how APQP works
• it also provides an understanding of the timing of deliverables along with associated information inputs and outputs
• it gives special attention to FMEA and production part approval process (PPAP) requirements
• and provides an understanding of why APQP is necessary to compete in world markets

Profile
This APQP course is designed to help engineers, technical personnel and production managers to set up a product planning cycle for developing a new product or service. It provides an understanding of control plans and APQP methodology and how they are related to the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle.

Participants should gain the necessary skills needed to implement the APQP process, develop control plans and understand the reasons for and benefits of quality planning. At the end of the course participants will return to the workplace with a good understanding of why APQP plays such an important role in a successful PPAP.
