Changes To ISO 14001: How they affect your EMS and its Certification

In November 2004 the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) published ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems - Requirements with guidance for use.

This SGS seminar is for all of those organisations involved in implementing, maintaining or auditing an EMS.

It covers five key questions:

  • Why were the changes made?
  • What are the changes?
  • What are the implications for my current EMS?
  • What are the implications for auditors?
  • What are the certification issues?

Attendance at this seminar will meet IRCA’s requirements for CPD.
This half day seminar introduces you to the key changes in the 2004 revision of ISO 14001 in comparison to the 1996 version. In addition to identifying changes to the Standard, and the resulting implications for your current EMS, this seminar will also cover the arrangements required for the transition from the old to the new version of ISO 14001.
