Professional Presentation Skills

Aims
This course aims to equip new and existing trainers with an effective and innovative approach to presentation delivery.

Participants will gain experience in presenting to others and:

• understand the critical factors in delivering training courses
• understand how audiences listen, respond and learn
• develop their most effective personal training style
• appreciate differing training methodologies

Profile
The programme covers learning styles, the trainer’s voice, controlling nerves, how the memory works and how to deal with problems. Through discussion and workshop activities, delegates will learn how to project their voice, how to create a favourable first impression and lead the training along given lines. By the end of the course, delegates will understand and have taken part in group activities which should allow them to feel comfortable in front of an audience, and have practised the techniques required to successfully deliver training and instruction to others.
