On receipt of your booking you will be sent an acknowledgement of order letter. Please contact SGS Training Services if you have not received this within five days.
Approximately four weeks before the start of the course you will be sent joining instructions including details of the venue and any pre-reading.
Bookings should be accompanied by the course fee, including VAT. Any application received without payment will be regarded as a provisional booking over which firm bookings will take preference. For participants outside of the UK, payment in full must be received 14 days before the start of the course.
VAT is charged at the current rate on all accounts.
Course fees do not include accommodation.

Cancellation
SGS United Kingdom Ltd reserves the right to charge full course fees if notice of cancellation is not received in writing 28 working days before the start of the course. If a booking is cancelled within the 28 working day period, or if the delegate fails to attend the course, then the full course fee becomes payable immediately.
Postponement
In the case of postponements, SGS United Kingdom Ltd will endeavour to accommodate suitable alternatives wherever possible. If this postponement is within 28 days of the course commencement, a 25% administration charge will apply. If a participant transfers to a different course or a different date and then subsequently cancels the booking, the full course fee remains payable.
Substitutes
There will be no charge if a substitute person from the same organisation wishes to replace the original delegate on the same course and date.
Course Content
SGS Training Services are constantly updating and improving course material to meet revised standards, legislative changes etc. SGS Training Services therefore reserves the right to improve the specification and format of its courses for the benefit of the client without notice. However, every endeavour will be made to ensure delegates receive a copy of the course programme with confirmation of booking.
Course Cancellation
SGS Training Services reserves the right to cancel a course at any time in circumstances beyond our control and without liability. In such circumstances delegates will be offered an alternative date and a credit note for the full course fees.
Prices
The prices quoted within this directory are correct at the date of publication. The prices for public delivery are per delegate. The prices quoted for in-company delivery are per course, up to and including the maximum number of delegates stated for each course. All major credit cards are accepted, excluding American Express.
All public and in-company course prices exclude value added tax (VAT), which will be added at the standard rate.
Late Payment
SGS United Kingdom Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on all outstanding fees, once stated credit terms expire. The interest charge applied will be 2.5% per calendar month or part thereof.
Liability
The client accepts that it is their responsibility to ensure the selected course is suitable and appropriate for the participant and that he/she has the necessary level of competence to be able to achieve the course objectives.
Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights for all materials shall remain the sole property of SGS United Kingdom Ltd or, in the case of a course developed by a training partner of SGS United Kingdom Ltd, the partner organisation.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that course materials are not reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form, or by any means without prior permission of the copyright owner. Unlicensed multiple copying of any course material is illegal.
