How to get started?

  Step 1: SGS can help you understand the purpose and requirements of ISO 22000 as a tool for the continual improvement of an FSMS through a series of ISO 22000 training courses.

  Step 2: Contact your local SGS representative.

  Step 3:
SGS will contact you discuss your needs and can put together a transition plan for you.

  Step 4: If required, SGS can conduct a gap assessment of your present food safety & quality management systems against ISO 22000 standard requirements

  Step 5: Pending on the result of the gap assessment and on the current food safety and quality management systems certifications in place, set up a fully integrated system or complete your existing system.

  Step 6: SGS will issue you with a proposal for audit and certification, taking into account transition from any current certifications you may hold

  Step 7: SGS audits and certifies your management systems against ISO 22000.
